Californian based The Flex Company is on a mission to create body-positive experiences for people. Founded on the belief that people deserve innovative, sustainable, life-changing period products, and growing fast, The Flex Company were looking for an equally innovative way of distributing their products throughout the US and Canada.
Positively impacting growth
First, an integration between their ERP, Brightpearl, and Third Party Logistics partner, Saddle Creek Logistics, offered a way for The Flex Company to access their B2C channel smoothly and effectively, positively impacting business growth with ease.
Then it was time to hit big retail. Advantage Solutions, an EDI Management Company, was integrated to enable a fully-automated sales process to major department stores and retailers across the US. This meant that creating and receiving large B2B orders and the subsequent transactions, fulfilment and processing, was now a piece of cake.
With sales increasing at a rapid pace, an integration between Brightpearl and QuickBooks Online Accounting kept the quotes and invoices flowing. Simplifying their reconciliation processes and now with no need for manual updating, the team were free to focus on growing the numbers.
Automated marketing platform, Klaviyo, was connected to allow The Flex Company to use their data to serve customers with highly relevant messages. Strong customer relationships would lead to increased sales, brand advocacy and loyalty.
Breaking through logistics barriers
Being able to determine stock availability at each warehouse and calculate the geographical distance of each sales order via an API with Google geocoding was a breakthrough for The Flex Company’s systems. Not only did b.solutions create a custom app to do this, but with the relevant data then being fed out to various Third Party Logistics partners across the country, transport costs and mileage was minimised, helping customers, the business and the environment.
