Ocean Saver® is a mission-driven company dedicated to protecting one of Earth’s most precious resources: the ocean. With plankton in the ocean responsible for producing 90% of our oxygen and absorbing most of the planet’s CO₂, safeguarding marine life from harmful chemicals is essential.

 

Ocean Saver’s range of plant-based, plastic-free cleaning products provides a sustainable alternative to conventional products that harm marine life. Available at major retailers like Tesco, ASDA, Ocado, and Amazon, their affordable and eco-friendly products make it easy for consumers to make an impact at home, preventing plastic and toxins from entering our waterways.

 

A clean sweep

With rapid growth came the need for a robust, scalable fulfilment process. Ocean Saver® had been facing challenges in their existing order management setup, which caused fulfilment issues, especially with SKUs containing special characters that would often fail to process. These disruptions risked customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

 

To ensure a frictionless customer experience, Ocean Saver partnered with b.solutions to build an integration between Shopify, their central hub for sales operations, and Walker Logistics, their third-party logistics (3PL) provider.

 

Flowing fulfilment

With a seamless integration between Shopify and Walker Logistics, orders now flow smoothly, with much improved order accuracy. Customers receive timely updates on their order status building trust and loyalty. What’s more, by syncing inventory data in real time, Ocean Saver® can manage stock levels more accurately, ensuring product availability and avoiding overselling. This optimised setup has resulted in a significant operational win for Ocean Saver®, boosting efficiency and elevating customer satisfaction.
