Looking bright

Award winning makeup brand, Sculpted by Aimee, is growing fast. Currently rated as one of the top 3 cosmetic brands in Ireland, they have recently launched a flagship store on Grafton Street, Dublin, and their high quality, multi-use products are growing in popularity online and in store. With further expansions in the pipeline, it was time to adopt best practices across the business to ensure they could rapidly scale with ease in the coming years.

In February 2023, Sculpted by Aimee launched Brightpearl as their retail operating system. Our first step in shaping a future-proofed tech stack was an integration between Brightpearl and accounting software QuickBooks Online. This integration allowed the team to automate their books, always knowing where they stood financially with .com, .co.uk, Amazon and in-store sales orders. The team could track liabilities, get paid by suppliers and free up time that had previously been spent on manual accounting processes.

Made up

Increasing sales mean increased pressure on logistics. So, our next step was to take a look at what could be done with Sculpted by Aimee’s 3PL partners. Syncing products, orders, returns and inventory between systems, saving time and delivering real-time inventory accuracy.

Sculpted by Aimee believe that make-up doesn’t have to be complicated. And neither does their tech stack. A few considered systems integrations can make all the difference to a growing beauty brand.

“The integrations we have put in place will allow us to hit our next growth milestone with a superbly automated tech-stack foundation. As a team, we’ve got more time now to focus on the future which is a very nice position to be in.”

Filling their boots

One of the biggest high street names for a beauty brand is Boots. With loyal customers and 2,200 shops across the United Kingdom and Ireland, Sculpted by Aimee had partnered with Boots in Ireland for a number of years, listed in over 50 of their Irish stores. With expansion into the UK’s top 100 Boots stores, there was a definite need to automate. To make that leap, we integrated EDI provider TrueCommerce with Brightpearl so that a single source of product and sales data could be synchronised with Boots. With this in place, volume of trade could increase without any impact on workload.
