With no set product bundles or standard SKUs, automating their stock, orders and shipping was a challenge that the b.solutions team was keen to get stuck into.
Running the table
Both Brightpearl and Salesforce were in place as software lynchpins within the tech stack. Sales flowed into Salesforce and Brightpearl sat at the heart of the retail operations hub, but there was a gap. Data didn’t flow between the two. So, we implemented an integration to ensure all sales opportunities were in sync.
To complete the end-to-end automation of the sales process, we then integrated Brightpearl to Home Leisure Direct’s chosen shipping partner; Route 1 Fulfilment, who go the extra mile to make sure the specialist nature of everything Home Leisure Direct sells, is delivered flawlessly.
Keeping score
Seasonality is a huge consideration for stock logistics in the super-sized games retail world. Home Leisure Direct wanted their customers to be able pre-order in periods of high demand. With our Salesforce forward allocation app, they can allow ‘on-order’ PO quantities to be pre-ordered on their site. These pre-orders are then automatically allocated when stock arrives, meaning timely-turnarounds and happy customers.
Home Leisure Direct will never be ‘out of stock’ again.
