Shaking things up

Effective, sustainable and convenient, Wild Cosmetics leapt into our bathrooms with their range of vegan and cruelty-free deodorants in July 2019. As the UK’s first direct-to-consumer, design-led, refillable natural deodorant brand, it was clear that this brand was on a mission to shake-up the throwaway cosmetics culture.

As their chosen Retail Operating System, Wild were in great hands with Brightpearl and b.solutions stepped in to make their tech stack as well-admired as their scents.

 

A natural start

The first step was to start to simplify everyday accounting tasks via an integration between Xero and Brightpearl. With the data synchronised between both systems, the team could see real-time sales, daily. From Rhubarb and Raspberry to Orange and Neroli, every planet-friendly compostable refill was right there. The team now had complete freedom to focus on growing sales.

 

Wildly efficient

A new business can benefit hugely from working with well-established experts and Linc was one of those experts. For over one hundred years, Linc have been in the business of logistics, supply chain and freight management so Wild customers in were in safe hands. By integrating Linc’s Snapfulfil system with Brightpearl, UK & ROW-based logistics became fully automated and sky-high customer satisfaction levels were effortlessly achieved.

Deliveries to Europe took a different path, via logistics specialists, Omnipack. With carefully positioned warehouses across Europe, Omnipack automated operations in Europe via an integration between Brightpearl. This took a weight off Wild and freed up time to concentrate on their now steep growth trajectory.

With Wild deodorant cases designed for life, the option to personalise a case is a hugely popular feature on Wearewild.com. Customers’ personalisation details were automatically fed through to both 3PL’s, making the process oh so simple.

Refill on demand

Being able to assemble your finished goods on demand is a luxury for most merchants. So, imagine this process being triggered as the sales roll-in, your components being assembled in time, every time. Our custom-built functionality for Brightpearl did just that for Wild. Customers’ case and refill fragrance choices could be made up on demand, making the entire process efficient, yet full of choice for customers.
