Since presenting their first collection in 1971, a globally recognised creative fashion house has approached design with a philosophy that balances form, movement and space. The concept of “a piece of cloth” underpins everything. Garments are not just created, they are considered. They exist in harmony with the wearer, shaped as much by absence as presence.
Today, that philosophy continues to evolve. Innovation begins at the yarn, extends through fabric development, and ultimately reaches the customer as something that feels effortless, yet deeply intentional.
As the brand’s UK operations evolved, so too did the demands on its systems. A business grounded in precision and creativity needed an operational backbone that could support both, without compromise.
Structure behind the simplicity
Working with Brightpearl at the core of their tech stack, this particular global fashion brand required a level of integration that could reflect the complexity of its product architecture and channel strategy.
Shopify was the central commerce layer, supporting direct-to-consumer and broader retail activity. However, standard, native integration approaches were not sufficient. Product structures differed between systems, particularly at variant level, where supplier-facing requirements did not align with the customer-facing presentation.
A tailored approach to product mapping now ensures that these differences are resolved. Variants are interpreted differently across systems while remaining fully synchronised. This allows suppliers to receive the structured data they require, while customers experience a refined and intuitive storefront.
Wholesale, refined
Alongside retail operations, wholesale plays a critical role in the brand’s ecosystem. NuORDER was introduced to support this, providing a visually rich and structured environment for B2B customers.
The challenge lay in managing a shared NuORDER environment across multiple business entities. Orders from different regions needed to be clearly separated, ensuring that only UK-relevant transactions flowed into Brightpearl.
The integration was configured to selectively process orders, maintaining clean operational boundaries while preserving a unified wholesale experience. Inventory, orders and fulfilment remained accurate and aligned, without introducing unnecessary complexity for internal teams.
